    The tour "around Korea for 7 days" will take you around South Korea and introduce you to major cities on east and west coasts of Korean Peninsula. You will experience life style of the capital Seoul, the second biggest city and major country port Busan, the capital of winter Olympics 2018 Pyeongchang. You will also stroll down green tea terraces of Boseong, and visit royal barrows of ancient capital Gyeongju. Those who love shopping will enjoy visiting the world largest department store Centum City Shopping Mall. People from all over the world may join this tour!

    Important: This is a join-in group tour with a guaranteed departure on every Saturday.

    ITINERARY

    Day-1 (Saturday): Seoul-Gongju-Daejeon

    Arrival in Seoul

    • Pick-up from your hotel in Seoul by our driver and transfer to Lotte Seoul Hotel for group departure
    • Our guide will greet you at a grand piano in the hotel lobby with “Discover Korea Tour” sign
    • Leave for Gongju, formerly named Ungjin and was the capital of Baekje from AD 475 to 538. In this period, Baekje was under threat from Goguryeo. Goguryeo had overrun the previous capital of Hanseong (modern-day Seoul), which forced Baekje to find a new center of strength.
    • You will visit Gongsanseong Fortress, Tomb of Muryeong King and Magoksa Temple where you will experience tea ceremony
    • Lunch: Shiitake Mushrooms Stew with side dishes
    • Leave for Daejeon, one of the 5 major cities (1.5m inhabitants) in Korea. In 1932 the capital of Chungnam province was moved from Gongju to Daejeon. During the Korean War the city was the site of an early major battle of the war, the Battle of Daejon
    • Dinner: Smoked Duck set meal

    Day-2 (Sun): Daejeon - Jeonju -Jinan - Gwangju
    • Breakfast in the hotel
    • Leave for Jeonju, home of Korean Culture and tradition. It is an important tourist center famous for Korean food, historic buildings, sports activities and innovative festivals. In May 2012, Jeonju was chosen as a Creative Cities for Gastronomy as part of UNESCO's Creative Cities Network. This honour recognize the city's traditional home cooking handed down through generations over thousands of years, its active public and private food research, a system of nurturing talented chefs, and its hosting of distinctive local food festival
    • Visit Jeonju Hanok (Korean Traditional House) Village.
    • Lunch: Jeonju Bibimbap & Seafood and green onion pancake
    • Leave for Jinan
    • Visit Tapsa Temple at Mt. Maisan
    • Leave for Gwangju. The city was established in 57 BC, and has been a major political and economic centre of Korea ever since. It was one of the administrative centres of Baekje during the Three Kingdoms Period.
    • Dinner: Vietnamese style Shabu Shabu & Spring rolls

    OVERNIGHT: Gwangju Holiday inn (5*)
    Day-3 (Mon): Gwangju - Boseong - Suncheon - Yeosu
    • Breakfast in the hotel
    • Leave for Boseong. Boseong is famous for its green tea leaves. Boseong Green Tea is a special product produced in Bodsung district and well known for great quality.
    • Stroll down Green Tea Plantation
    • Visit Naganeupseong Folk Village. You can observe the daily dwellings indigenous to the south provincial area such as the kitchen area, the clay rooms, and Korean-style verandas. There are also 9 houses designated as important cultural resources, and numerous straw-roof houses as well
    • Enjoy Suncheonman Bay Ecological Park wih Reeds Marshes. It is the biggest colony of reeds in Korea. The image of the entire field swaying in the wind is as dazzling as waves on the sea
    • Lunch: Tteokgalbi Set meal or Dried Corvina Set meal
    • Visit Yongsan Observatory and Eco-Museum in Suncheon
    • Transfer to Yeosu. Yeosu is one of the country's most picturesque port cities especially at night. Famous for its seafood, beaches, flowers and marinas, it is developing as an international ocean resort and tourist destination as well as being selected as a host city for the 2012 World Expo in Yeosu Harbor
    • Dinner: Pizza or spaghetti

    OVERNIGHT: The Ocean Resort (4*)
    Day-4 (Tue): Yeosu - Jinju - Busan
    • Breakfast in the hotel
    • Take a cruise ship to enjoy a beautiful scenery around Odongdo Island in Yeosu
    • Transfer to Jinju. The main attractions of the city are Jinju Castle, the Jinju National Museum, and the Nam-gang Prehistoric Site Museum
    • Visit Jinjuseong Fortress, which is historically linked to the Japanese invasion in 1592, was originally named Geoyeolseong Castle during the Three Kingdom Period, later renamed as Chokseokseong Castle in the Goryeo Dynasty and finally settled as Jinjuseong Castle in the Joseon Dynasty
    • Lunch: Bulgoggi stew & Bibimbap
    • Transfer to Busan, the largest port city in Korea. With over 3.6 million people, Busan is South Korea's second largest city. Busan is known for its beaches, hot springs, nature reserves and events such as the city's renowned international film festival held each fall.
    • Visit Dongbaekseom Island
    • Enjoy shopping at Centum City Shopping Mall which is the largest department store in the world!
    • Dinner: Korean style BBQ

    OVERNIGHT: Haeundae Grand Hotel (5*)
    Day-5 (Wed): Busan - Ulsan - Gyeongju

      VISIT ANCIENT CAPITAL OF KOREA

    • Breakfast in the hotel
    • Leave for Ulsan -a seaside metropolitan city in the southeast of Korea with a population of 1.2 million. The city is known for its whaling heritage and more recently as the industrial heart of the country. it is the gateway to the Yeongnam Alps, considered to be one of the most beautiful provincial parks in South Korea
    • visit Ulgi Park which is a seaside park standing at east coast
    • Transfer to Gyeongju. The Shilla clan became the rulers of the south-eastern part of the peninsula in 57 BCE. They chose Gyongju as their capital. Gyeongju is home to South Korea's first nominated UNESCO World Heritage Site and numerous other national treasures
    • Lunch: Vegetarian set menu
    • Visit Bulguksa Temple, Gyeongju National Museum, Cheomseongdae Observator and Tumuli Park
    • Dinner: Casual Buffet

    OVERNIGHT: *Hotel: 4-5 star hotel
    Day-6 (Thu): Gyeongju - Andong - Wonju - Pyeongchang
    • Breakfast in the hotel
    • Leave for Andong - the self-proclaimed "Capital City of Korean Spiritual Culture", having maintained aspects of the traditional culture of Korea throughout the past 2,000 years. Over 280 cultural assets are scattered around the city.
    • visit Hahoe Village - a valuable part of Korean culture because it preserves Joseon period-style architecture, folk traditions, valuable books, and old tradition of clan-based villages
    • Lunch: Braised chicken with vegetables & Roasted fish
    • Transfer to Wonju
    • Visit Hanji Theme Park and experience of making Hanji (traditional Korean paper)
    • Transfer to Pyeongchang. On 6 July 2011, Pyeongchang was announced as the host city for the 2018 Winter Olympics and the 2018 Winter Paralympics
    • Dinner: Squid and Pork Belly Bulgogi

    OVERNIGHT: The Convention Hotel (5*)
    Day-7 (Fri): Pyeongchang - Gangneung - Mt.Seorak - Seoul
    • Breakfast in the hotel
    • Leave for Gangreung. Gangreung is considered special in that it has both access to a lake and the sea.
    • visit Jumunjin Fish Market - the largest seafood market on the East cost. It features dried seafood market and sashimi center
    • Transfer to Yangyang for a short hike at Jujeongol of Mt. Seoraksan - after the Hallasan volcano on Jeju Island and Jirisan in the south, Seoraksan is the third highest mountain in South Korea
    • Lunch: Hot stone pot rice with vegetables
    • Return to Seoul at around 18:00
    • End of service
